Entech Engineering performs data acquisition using sampling trains and mobile test trailers equipped with continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS). In the air emission sampling and combustion performance testing field, gaseous constituents such as NO, NOX, CO, CO2, SO2, O2, and total hydrocarbons (THC), are typically measured using CEMS instrumentation while most other chemical constituents are collected using sampling trains. Although wet chemical methods are also available for the gaseous components, practicality and economics has made the use of instrumentation almost universal in recent years.
The mobile air emission laboratories used by Entech Engineering are custom built by Entech personnel to provide flexibility and versatility in conducting emission compliance tests, emissions engineering studies, relative accuracy test audits (RATA) and cylinder gas audits (CGA), as well as combustion performance tests. These mobile laboratory facilities have been proven extensively in the field on a wide variety of study and compliance test programs for governmental and industrial clients.
Entech Engineering also provides visible emissions testing for visual opacity and fugitive emissions determination according to EPA Reference Methods 9 and 22.
